My Approach

My approach to therapy is active, engaged and collaborative. While I believe deeply in the importance of feeling heard and understood, I won’t simply sit back and listen. I’ll be alongside you in the process - asking questions, offering reflections, gently challenging patterns and helping you explore what might be happening beneath the surface.

As an integrative Psychotherapist, I draw upon different therapeutic approaches depending on what you need. Sometimes our work may involve talking and making sense of past experiences and relationships and how they are shaping you today. At other times, we might focus more closely on a particular experience, event or trauma, or simply explore what is happening in your life right now ( everyday habits and patterns or ways of coping that might be contributing to how you feel). What you choose to bring to each session is entirely up to you. As our work develops, we’ll regularly check in together about how the therapy is feeling and what you need, allowing us to adapt our focus as things change and unfold.

When talking and thinking alone doesn’t feel enough to create meaningful change. I might offer different experimental exercises such as guided visualisation, breath and body awareness, grounding, inner child work, or sand tray. These can offer another way of exploring what may be difficult to reach through words alone, helping you to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.

Qualifications & Training

I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist, having completed four years of rigorous professional training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London.

Throughout my training and professional practice, I have worked therapeutically in both private practice and NHS settings across London and Buckinghamshire, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds and with a variety of emotional and psychological difficulties.

Alongside my psychotherapy work, I bring experience from the corporate world, having worked with large international organisations including HSBC, L’Oréal and Aesop, supporting employee wellbeing and listening strategies. This experience has given me a particular understanding of the pressures that can accompany demanding careers, workplace relationships, identity and the challenge of balancing our professional and personal lives.

I have also undertaken additional training in therapeutic work with young people, broadening my understanding of emotional development, attachment and the experiences that shape us through childhood and into adult life.
